Travel Information
Punakha Dzong is located in the scenic Punakha Valley and is one of Bhutan’s most visited cultural landmarks. Easily accessible by road, it is commonly included in journeys through western Bhutan.
The Dzong can be reached in approximately 2 hours from Thimphu, 3 hours from Paro, and 6 hours from Gelephu.
