How to Visit
Rinpung Dzong is easily accessible from the town center of Paro and is typically visited as part of a cultural sightseeing tour of the valley.
From Paro town
A short drive or a pleasant walk takes you to the dzong’s entrance area.
Cross the traditional bridge
Visitors enter via a wooden covered bridge over the Paro Chhu River, leading into the fortress complex.
Best time to visit
Spring (March–May) and Autumn (September–November). Daytime visits are ideal, especially in the morning for a quieter experience.
